The University of North Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting an open-rank (tenure-track or variable track) Maternal-Fetal Medicine Critical Care faculty physician. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the clinical and academic leader of Critical Care MFM at UNC.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient care to high-risk obstetric patients, including those requiring intensive care management.
Provide consultative and co-management critical care services for pregnant and postpartum patients.
Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based critical care protocols for obstetric patients.
Build and direct a joint MFM-Critical Care fellowship program in collaboration with relevant departments.
Develop and expand tele-critical care (e-ICU) capacity to extend critical care expertise to obstetric patients across UNC Health?s regional network.
Education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and active participation in the division?s research mission
