We'd love to have you join our Mountain Miracles Midwifery team in breathtaking Colorado Springs; a city known for its sunshine, trails and thriving birth community! We are seeking to add one midwife to our exceptional team! As part of our close-knit group of 3-4 midwives, you will enjoy a supportive and loving environment practicing out of stunning Colorado Springs, CO. Our midwives travel within a 90-minute radius for births and provide home visits for 36 weeks and 1 day postpartum only. We support an average of 15-20 births a month.
As the only CNM-owned home birth practice in Southern Colorado, we offer full scope midwifery services and enjoy licensure coverage, malpractice coverage, CEU support, an IRA and a business vehicle. Additional benefits also include 3 weeks paid vacation with up to 6 weeks earned after years of service, paid maternity leave through the CO FAMLI Act, and a supportive work environment.
The schedule is really comfortable for a “full time” midwifery job, ensuring a healthy work/life balance! Once training is completed, our midwives typically work one clinic day a week and one 24-hour call shift a week and one weekend of call every four weeks on average.
