Responsibilities will include daily rounding, admitting and discharging patients, and coordinating transfers from the unit. Familiarity with devices such as Impellas, intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs, and ECMO are a plus. The APP will be expected to perform and assist with procedures such as central venous lines, arterial lines, and pulmonary artery catheters.
