Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team atmosphere and make independent decisions. Candidate must also have strong communications skills and a desire to work with learners.

Job Description:

• 3x12 hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday REQUIRED plus 1 other day that week
• Position location at Fishers Hospital plus Flex Coverage at IU North
• 100% inpatient- no OR time guaranteed
• Inpatient rounding on elective and emergency general surgery patients, ED consults and staffing with on-call surgeon.

Patient Population:

• Varied inpatient- some elective with majority emergency general surgery patients coming in through ED.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required
• ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA Required
• General Surgery background preferred
