Responsibilities
Both Day/Night Shfits Available: 8 Hour Day Shifts and 16 Hour Night Shifts
Level III NICU
Wesley Medical Center is the main regional perinatal center for the state of Kansas outside the Kansas City area
Our midlevels are responsible for patient care for the nicu ( our census averages 52) and delivery room coverage of the main labor and delivery area plus the Birthing Center across the street.
We staff 3 neonatologists and 3 midlevels on the 8-hour day shift and 1 neo and three midlevels at night. Typical patient load is 8-10 per shift. No transport duties or call from home is required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year's experience.
NNP Certified
Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
Active KS license or Eligible for Compact License
Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
