MEDNAX has an opportunity for a BC/BE neonatologist to join a well-established national group of physicians providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michaelâ™s Hospital in Texarkana, TX.

The Level-III NICU has 8 beds and the intermediate unit has 7 with an average daily census of 9 infants.
The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2,100 deliveries annually.
NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house coverage and they also care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.
