The Outpatient Behavioral Health Center at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing team in its brand-new clinic location in Davie, FL. The outpatient clinic has a comprehensive array of services including the Primary Care Clinic’s Mind/Body Wellness Program, addiction treatment program, peer mentoring and recovery support though the Drop-In Center, and dialectical behavior therapy. The selected candidate will practice alongside a multidisciplinary, integrated team to see patients for psychiatric evaluations and medication management, support care coordination, and collaborate with in-house primary care and behavioral health counseling programs on evidence-based approaches to treatment. Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM. Candidates must have a national Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification and at least one (1) year of experience as a psychiatric outpatient provider. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.

Memorial Outpatient Behavioral Health Center offers a variety of programs including individual and group therapy to help individuals gain insight and confidence, so they can live healthy, productive lives. The Medication Clinic offers accessible and cost-effective mental health and substance abuse services through a team of providers including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners. Therapy services include two intensive outpatient programs for people with addiction/co-occurring disorders or mood/anxiety disorders, as well as DBT and trauma groups. Rebel's Drop-In Center is open 365 days a year to provide wellness activities, social support, peer counseling, and advocacy for individuals with mental health or substance use challenges. The Mind/Body Wellness Program is a co-located and fully integrated primary care clinic within our center. In 2018, the National Council for Behavioral Health awarded Memorial Healthcare System the Excellence in Whole Person Care Award.
