DescriptionSUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) providing clinical services including diagnosis of illness, development and management of treatment plans, prescription of medication.
