Job Summary
Responsible for management of clinical research staff across all sites and provides guidance and leadership in implementation of research projects. Responsible for assisting in the development of study budgets, review of study feasibility, recruitment strategies, quality of care, study adherence, study implementations and staff education.
Job Duties
- Prepare and manage the individual project budgets; track and report financial study compliance.
- Support project initiation, management and billing.
- Primary liaison with the clinical research staff to ensure seamless research project support, team-building, and operational efficiency.
- Assists with development of clinical research and departmental orientation plans for all new clinical staff.
- Assists with development of departmental and research specific procedures and guidelines.
- Evaluates the program to assess appropriate resource allocation to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and time and cost management.
- Oversees the planning, coordination, development, and utilization of recruitment tools.
- Develop and educate study specific materials; tracking logs, templates, monitoring tools.
- Assist to develop and implement standard operating procedures for clinical research consistent with institutional research standards and departmental standards.
- Ensure quality of services provided and deliverables.
- Ensures compliance will all applicable regulatory standards related to clinical research.
- Assists with oversight of research billing compliance consistent with study specifications and institutional requirements.
- Maximize the productivity and efficiency of staff.
- Creates and develops recruitment strategies that will optimize study enrollment.
- Assist with oversight of data compliance with sponsor requirements.
- Assist with oversight of overall data quality.
- Monitor and report on program data compliance performance.

Position Details
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Travel: Limited. Periodic travel to other clinic sites for meetings
Research projects: Upcoming projects include cardiology, sleep medicine, maternal fetal medicine, pulmonary and pediatric clinical trials.
