Holistic South Pregnancy & Birth Center, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our OB/GYN/Pregnancy Care Center practice in sunny South Florida.  Our practice has grown!  HSPBC is located about one hour north of Key Largo and is the Only Florida practice located within a two minute walk across to the hospital.  Our OB/GYN providers cover hospital transfers with years of experience for medical necessity. Privileges for midwives may be obtained for continuity of care.

We are a personalized midwifery practice of eight years and allows you to have the opportunity to provide personal care for your patients without being rushed so you get to know them well. Working together with other staff to provide the best care for our parents.

Patient clinic scheduled 2-1/2 days per week and cover 5-12 births per month with back up. Personalized practice with professional, compassionate care. Low risk pregnancies, labor & birth (within our two birthing suites) providing continued care for our mothers through postpartum and women's wellness.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements for Midwife:

* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or midwifery

* A minimum of two to five years of full scope practice providing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, well woman and some gynecological care. Desire for personal midwifery care within our scope of practice.

Services will include full scope pregnancy care, birth center births, family planning and women's wellness - gynecology. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful.

Must be licensed & registered to work in the State of Florida.

Must be current with NRP/CPR/BLS.

Skills: Proficient use of the electronic medical health record.
