Working under the direction of a physician this position works closely with the physicians, midwifes, other clinical staff, and front office staff. While working within your scope of practice you will be able to use different aspects of your license including but not limited to: Labs, POCT, assisting with procedures, ect. Work situations include a variety of clinical functions within a clinic setting requiring knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude. Acting as the patient advocate the Medical Assistant has continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families/ significant others, community agencies, and MHS patient care staff and management. If you want to work within a small office setting where you get to build relationships with patients and other staff members this job is for you.Minimum Requirements:One (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferredEducation/Licenses/Certifications:Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) CertificationThe Clinic LPN functions as a primary clinic nurse under the direction of a physician, providing direct and indirect patient care and assisting the physician with patient care, procedures, and follow-up.Minimum Requirements: Two years experience as a LPN in a clinic setting preferredEducation/Licenses/Certifications: Current WA state LPN license Urgent Care Clinics (excluding Immediate Clinics): ACLS (for adult population) and PEARS required within 6 months of hire Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements
