High Risk OB Antepartum RN Nights

JOB SUMMARY
 

We are looking for RNs to work in one of our High Risk OB Antepartum units.

 
Every day, our Antepartum RNs have the special privilege of helping women and their families bring new people into the world.   Our Antepartum RNs care for women prior to labor and monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers prior to delivery and administering medications. In addition, our Antepartum RNs must be ready to care for any complications that may arise and be able to assist the physician with procedures such as cesarean sections, episiotomies and epidurals. Ideal Antepartum RN candidates will be experienced in Labor & Delivery and Antepartum Care procedures, understand labor and delivery practices and have excellent problem solving and communications skills.

Location/Facility: Baylor University Medical Center Dallas

Specialty/Department/Practice: High Risk OB Antepartum

Shift/Schedule: 36 hours/week Full-Time Nights 7pm to 7am

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Associate's degree required; Bachelor of Science degree preferred

- MAJOR - Nursing

- EXPERIENCE - 2+ years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery or High Risk Antepartum required

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       Registered Nurse (RN) license required

       BLS and NRP certifications required within 30 days of hire or transfer

       Fetal Monitoring certification a plus
