Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Yale School of Nursing is seeking candidates for a certified nurse-midwife position. Midwives seeking an opportunity to practice full scope midwifery, precept and teach in a collaborative practice model. The Yale School of Nursing is fortunate to maintain a continuously operated faculty practice for more than 50 years. Yale Midwives practice in a variety of settings, caring for diverse populations of people and attend births at the Vidone Birthing Center. The Vidone is an in-hospital birthing center of Yale New Haven Hospital. Midwives, physicians, nurses and doulas work together to promote physiologic birth. The Yale Midwifery faculty practice is growing and building on the strength of our unique backgrounds. The supportive environment fosters opportunities for growth and mentorship.
