Clinical Nurse Consultant II (Clinical Nurse Educator) - OB Services
The University of Illinois Hospital & Clinics - Clinical Nurse Consultant provide diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients. They also provide expertise and support to nurses caring for patients at the bedside, help drive practice changes throughout the organization, and ensure the use of best practices and evidence-based care to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant identifies gaps in healthcare delivery, designs and implements and evaluates outcomes of interventions to improve overall healthcare delivery.
Current RN license required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or another health care field required.
Minimum of Two (2) to Three (3) years of clinical (RN) Obstetrics nursing experience required.
AHA Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate, and intermediate/advanced fetal monitoring training required.
Excellent attendance, interpersonal skills, and work history required.
ACLS and Basic EFM must be achieved within 3 months of hire.
