The Cardiac Surgery Clinical Administrative Director works with the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery to direct the operation, coordination, planning, development, and marketing of all activities related to the Cardiac Surgery Department. This role is responsible for overall administrative direction of the Cardiac Surgery Department, overseeing all personnel, policy and procedures including in the Cardiac Operating Rooms, Practice extenders and office/department-based personnel and processes. Manage staff and workflows, including data capture and analysis, to optimize departmental and institutional performance. Develop strategic/business plans for continued program growth and development.
A minimum of three years related hospital management/leadership experience.
Current clinical knowledge in all aspects of cardiac surgery.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
NJ State RN license required, Certification (APN and/or professional) preferred.
